Skipper Dolls

1970 Living Skipper $40.00

(NM/EXC) This is one of my personal favorites of the Skippers of the 70s! She has all original face paint with all original lashes that are LONG! Hair is in original style with replaced rubberbands and ribbons. No missing hair plugs or cut hair. Legs both bend and hold all three clicks firmly. Arms bend and hold poses as well. She has a few bite marks on her feet (see photo). Otherwise her body is nice and clean. No earring holes and no discolorations of any kind. She is wearing the dress to Triple Treat #1748 from 1970. It does show some signs of playwear and there appears to have been a mended area in the back seam. Both snaps are still intact. A pair of matching flats have been added and are both marked TAIWAN with no cracks. She also comes with the booklet that you see here. It is in great shape with no missing pages or writing. She has all of her fingers and toes. Her butt is marked: © 1963 Mattel Inc | US & For Patd | Other Pats Pend | Patd in Canada 1967. There are no offensive odors of any kind.

1971 Sun Set Malibu Skipper $30.00

(NM/EXC) This Skipper has all original face paint that is nice and vivid! There are 4 little tiny faint fade spots on her face. Legs bend, but hold only the first 2 poses. Bottoms of BOTH feet are marked JAPAN. She has all of her fingers and toes. There are a few indentations on her left ankle. Hair is nice and shiny, but her bangs are not laying flat. There is one plug in the back underneath her hair that is missing. Otherwise, no hair cut or missing plugs. She is wearing her original suit. The elastic in the back of the top and the waist of the trunks has stretched out a bit. I believe the towel to her original one, but the fringe on the ends is missing. There are no offensive odors of any kind.

1973 Pose 'N Play Skipper $40.00

(NM/EXC) This is one of my personal favorites of the Skippers of the 70s! She has all original face paint. Hair is in original style with replaced rubberbands and ribbons. There is a small mark on her back that looks like a mold mark, but it is very slight. Her arms a little swingy at the shoulders. She has all of her fingers and toes. 1965 Barbie Doll GROWING PRETTY HAIR FRANCIE In Night Blooms $60.00

(EXC) This gal has had her lips retouched and I gave her "sweep-the-floor" length lashes since she was pretty much missing all of them when I found her (see before photo). She has a nice full head of hair with no sign of a hair cut or any missing plugs. I have restyled it back into its original style. The tail is still attached, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work. Her bangs look crooked in the photos, but it's just because they are laying funny and are not completely flat against her forehead. I could not believe it when I found this doll because she does not have the translucent look on of her head vinyl that these dolls are so notorious for getting. This doll's vinyl skin tone is beautifully uniform to the rest of her body! Her nose shows only faint lightening. There are NO earring holes and no sign of discoloration or greening of any kind there. No neck splits either. She is wearing the nightgown to Night Blooms #1212 from 1970. There are a few little areas on the front of the bodice where the lace is that, when originally stitched on, the seamstress missed the lace. There is no tearing of the lace or loose stitches. Still tagged with the Francie label and there are no holes. Arms and waist are nice and snug and hold poses. Her legs bend but hold only the first 2 poses. She has a few indentations on her right ankle (see photo). She has all of her fingers and toes. There are the usual light surface scuffs on her back. Her butt is marked: © 1966 | Mattel Inc | US Pat other | Pats Pend | Pat Canada | 1967 | Japan. There are no offensive odors of any kind.

1969 Barbie Doll HAIR HAPPENIN'S FRANCIE In Borderline $60.00

(EXC) This gal has had her lips retouched and I gave her "sweep-the-floor" length lashes since she was pretty much missing all of them when I found her (see before photo). She has a nice full head of hair with no sign of a hair cut or any missing plugs. Its got kind of a two-tone blonde thing going on. My guess is that it has just oxidized over the years. She has several pin taps at both ears and there is an ever so light case of lightening on the lobes. On a scale from 1 to 5 with 5 being the worst, I would say the fading here ranks at a 1 it is that slight. She has a small neck splits that has been repaired as well. She is wearing the dress to Borderline #1287 from 1967 and it is in nice shape. I did replace the snap on the back and it is slightly soiled, but nothing major. I have not tried to wash it at all. She also wears a pair of yellow square toe shoes that are both marked JAPAN on the bottoms. As you can see there is a small split in the one shoe. Francie's body is pretty uniform in color. Both legs bend and hold all three poses firmly. No bite or chew marks and she has all of her fingers and toes. There are a few spots on her left leg near her shin. Toward the inside there are a few little green dots and the outside there are a few larger yellowish colored marks. There are a few smudge marks on her right knee as well. Arms are nice and snugs and hold poses though her waist is a little swingy. She still holds poses nicely though. There are the usual surface scuffs on her back. Her butt is marked: © 1966 | Mattel Inc | US Patented | US Pat Pend | Made In | Japan. There are no offensive odors of any kind.

1971 SUN SET MALIBU Francie $25.00

(EXC) This doll wears her original outfit. She is in nice shape, but has a few chew marks on her ankles/feet. Her knees still bend and hold all 3 poses firmly. No missing hair plugs or hair cut. There are about 3 plugs underneath her hair in the back that have only a few strands of hair left. NO GREEN SPOTS on her face. Outfit has a few loose threads, but is overall still nice for display. There are no offensive odors of any kind.

BARBIE ::

1970 HAREM-M-M'S Fashion #1784 $35.00 (NM) This fashion is COMPLETE and in near mint condition with booklet, belt, and shoes. The jumpsuit is nice and clean, but there are a few little tiny pulls in the fabric near the front. No holes though. Snaps are still intact. Belt is in great shape. Both shoes are marked TAIWAN and are original Barbie shoes. Also comes with booklet showing the outfit inside.

1972 FURRY 'N FUN Fashion #3336 $20.00 (NM/EXC) This coat is overall in nice shape. It is missing the belt around the waist. It is clean and free from holes. One of the boots has a slightly pinker coloring probably from being against the red coat all these years.

1972 LONG 'N FRINGY Fashion #3341 $30.00 (NM/EXC) This fashion is COMPLETE! Two of the little gold balls on the front of the skirt are missing, but the skirt is otherwise really nice. One pilgrim shoe is marked JAPAN and the other KOREA, but the colors are a spot-on match. Yellow jumper has a few loose stitches in the waist, but is otherwise really nice with no holes or runs in the material. Snaps are still intact.

1973 MIX 'N MATCH FASHION w/ Bubble Glasses $20.00 (NRFC) This outfit is a top with hot pink bubble glasses that were issued for Skipper and Francie fashion as well.
